Congenitally missing teeth, severe caries, periodontitis, and eruption disturbance are not only causes of missing teeth/tooth loss but also initiate disruption of dental arch integrity. Some specific disruptions to dental arch integrity are migration of adjacent teeth and extrusion of their unopposed counterparts. Rehabilitation of the dental arches is undoubtedly the main task of dental clinicians. Recent studies reveal limited longevity of prostheses, including dental implants. Autotransplantation of viable teeth tends to exhibit various pathologic statuses over the long term. Hence, a fail-safe, biologically acceptable restoration protocol is needed.
